Late again!! The following night I was thinking.. I cannot be late anymore! Cannot give bad impression to the freshies! But I was late again!!! I didn't know why but I couldn't hear the alarm when it rang! Haizzz... what to do.. sleeping handsome here.
But no worries.. There are some other halls even later than us. I thought I was very late already but when I arrived with my freshies, there was less than half the total number of people!!!
Well, this morning again, the Hall 7 freshies reached Canteen A by themselves. Of course I was there to make sure nothing happened. Proud of them~~~~~!!!
Today... we're going to Sentosa.. Woohoooooo~~~~~!!!
Leaving for Sentosa!
Because the day before we were the last group to leave, today we get to leave first! We had our breakfast on the bus without any cheers. But breakfast was only buns! Nothing special.
Qeisharo on the bus with another group.
To have an enjoyable trip from NTU to Sentosa, we decided to practice the MSA Theme Song and FOC Theme Song.
KC is no longer the kesi kesi freshie but a more 'On' senior! KC and Wei Shin singing the FOC Theme Song, 'I'll Be There For You' which was also the song for the comedy Friends.
Well, it didn't take long for the people to master those 2 songs. As you all know, we are NTU students! okok.. cut down the show off...
Ching Hong decided to create an A capella out of farm animals. We did it a few times, which I myself was involved in it. Thus, no photos from there.
KC decided to dance for us once we reached Sentosa.
But once we reached Sentosa, we had to wait for other groups to arrive. So, we practiced our a capella. This time I make sure I didn't miss out.
My dear old bro, Yong Ching Seng was also around. The undisputed lame king taught us a new cheer. The shy cheer, which really create a cloud of lameness around the group. Power-nya!
Well, the waiting area wasn't the place we are gonna play our games. We have to walk further down to the seaside.
Along the way, we discovered these...
Same toes!
Similar bags. Just different colours.
Once we reached the pavilion, Boon Kiat plant the flag on cement! among a pile of bags!
The girls started putting sunblock.
A circle helping each other...
The guys just stood around talking and doing nothing. Typical guys attitude!
Of course they had nothing to do. As if the girls allow them help the girls put sunblock.
After that, every group showcased our own cheer. Most group used combo cheers. Some modified cheers. But most of all, every type of cheer was good in building the bonds and trusts between the members.
Qeisharo cheering!
After that, we head down to the beach for our first game!
This game is a group vs group game. Every member had to sit with both sides are their opponents. They had to form 2 circles. Big one outside, facing inside. Small one inside, facing outside.
Kok Hou says, "I have only 1 and it's green!"
Balloons will be passed around the small and the big circle. Plastic will also be passed as protection. The game started when the music was played.
KC posing while the game was in progress!
Once the music stopped, the person on the inside circle holding the balloon will take the bucket filled with water in the center to splash the person with the same color balloon at the outside circle!
Hui Chian going soft on the victim.
This is called pouring!
The people holding the plastic protections must rush to a victim of the same group and protect him/her from the water.
Protect!
Chong Yang veli veli veli veli veli veli careful with the "golden egg"!
While the freshies were busy playing, the seniors were...
...taking photo!
This is a must post photo
Fish and the cute guy beside her. They wanted to take this photo.
The next game was dog and bone!
The bone!
The dogs!
and the fight!
It was a best of 2 sets with 3 sets to play. Grace seemed like didn't want Qeisharo to win when we went neck-to-neck on the last set and Qeisharo leading each point till....
...the storms prevented a winner from that match!
It started raining!
No one can stop the MSA spirit!
Although most of the games were canceled due to the rain, we still had some games in the pavilion!
But before that, once the rain started pouring down, a group forgot its flag! And the forfeit was...
...BREAKFAST!!! With added chili + chili + chili + chili!
Well, they enjoyed it though...
...until it's finger licking good!
The day continued with some games... Making the biggest circle with the items that we wear. So, they made a circle out of slippers, whistles, T-shirts, etc.
Then it was time to limbo!!!!
Ok.. let's skip everything and showcase Qeisharo's bests!!!
Yvonne!
4 + (read in chinese)
and Ching Hong!!!
But I still feel that the limbo champion goes to...
this little gal from Haribe! Wanna know how low the stick actually was, compare it with Andrew's leg. Andrew is the one with the red loud hailer.
Well, after the games, the freshies were given time to prepare their sketch. While the seniors went about playing their own games. Some were lame games. Some funny games. etc etc
Some Qeisharo group photos....
This one with me inside!!! *Happy!* *Happy!* *Very Happy!*
Taking photo right in front of the rain!
Emo-ing
Acting cute! Winners are definitely Raymond and Jolyn! Raymond is the one at the bottom in brown T-shirt. Jolyn is the one in black, standing 2nd row. 3rd from the left.
Well, we went back earlier than the planned timing. SP game was canceled not due to weather. But due to some super bian tai lou who treated their SPs like whores! I want to 'thank' you BIAN TAI LOUs, from don't know which group, which caused my Qeisharo members no chance to play SP games! *insulting to the MAX!*
Let's look at the bright side. The freshies have more time to prepare for the sketch. And.. I have time to charge my camera battery! But this is still not a win-win situation!
At night, Qeisharo freshies gathered quite early at 6+pm to rehearse their sketch. I reached at 7+ closed to 8, so that I can skip the practicing all together.
We gathered at the pavilion at 8pm and had dinner. After that, it was the 'So You Think You Can Be a Girl' pageant contest!!! We were shown some of the photos of the pageant contest during senior camp. How they changed Jacky to Jaclyn, Simon to Simone, Sexy to Thai Chick, etc etc!
Today it was Kah Choon's turn to change from Kah Choon To Choon Choon!
Kah Choon to Choon Choon Transformation process:
to

Becoming the winner of the pageant contest 2008!
After the event, there was a break for 10 min for each team to prepare their sketch.
The sketch was really... extraordinarily wonderful!!! I couldn't believe every different group could come out with such funny jokes!
The theme of the sketch are fairy tales and Shanghai beach. Each group chose a specific fairy tale story on the first day of FOC. Today, they had to perform their very own fairy tale at Shanghai beach!
*******************************************
My dear readers. Sorry I did not record any video of the acting.
For Qeisharo's sketch, the video is with another photographer. I'll get it as soon as I can and post it up!

Well, although the ugly frog and the princess won but I personally prefer the 3 little pigs! Super funny lorr~~~~
Sorry, I can't elaborate too much on this part. All in all, all the sketches were wonderful! If I had known, I would have recorded all of them!

After some speeches by Teng Seng...
...and Jacky...
....we sang the MSA theme song and FOC theme song. No photos of the singing part as I joined in the fun! And right after that, the mass dance. Everyone began to dance while I began to take photos because I didn't know how to dance!
Boon Kiat with some very nice moves~~~~
A few rounds of the mass dance really bored me to the max! Good thing they ended the dance after a few rounds. If not, have to keep on giving excuses to take photo as I didn't know how to dance!
Every group went to their own sharing session to share bout what they felt about their group.
It was Qeisharo's boss, Beng Beng's turn to share... eventhough the photo doesn't look like she's sharing but it was taken when she was talking.
Then we went for supper at ah fung! Until very late at night!
So, this is Qeisharo in MSA FOC 2008!
I want to apologize for some of the photos not being clear enough as I know I'm not as good a photographer as some people and my camera had problem with battery lives throughout 5 days of FOC!
I'm very sorry if you don't feel the same way towards the 2008 MSA FOC. This blog is of course bias cause I'm the writer!
But still, all 5 of these posts are dedicated to:
Every freshie in Qeisharo!
Every senior in Qeisharo!
and everyone who made Qeisharo possible!
