Today's highlights! AMCISA-MSA Combined Games and of course SP Game!

After sleeping late last night, today, I woke up at 7.30am! I became blur blur last night and set my alarm at 7.30am! Everyone knows if you are gathering at 7.30am, you don't wake up at 7.30am lor!!! I phoned Chor Liang, thought of asking him to bring the freshies but he also couldn't wake up! Chor Liang is a senior in my hall.

Thus, I went down after changing and bringing the things that I need. I was in luck as that day I shouldn't bathe until after the combined games.

All the freshies were downstairs waiting. In their hearts, they must be saying, "Walau.. this senior.. just like typical Malaysians! Always late!"

It was quite a long journey to travel from hall 7 to the Sports Recreational Centre (SRC). With the rain, it was hard to move about. With the huge amount of people at SRC, it was hard to find people that I want to find.

All 4 of my hall freshies, Jia Xin, Jia Yi, Suk Yee and You Liang all were placed into Group 3, Teck Hong's group. Due to the different no. of groups in AMCISA and MSA, the committee decided to placed them into 8 groups according to their halls. I can't find a suitable photo of Teck Hong to put because he is too active, moving left right centre all the time. His photo all blur!!!

I met my long lost hall 16 fellow Malaysian who joined Hall 16 FOC last year!!!

And she is non other than Jin Yin! Looking prettier every time. She's the one on the right. Don't know who is the one on the left. Should be her fellow AMCISA member.

I decided to go back hall to sleep, but boss (Boon Earn) said I'm attached to =3 as their photographer! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Teck Hong's group is called "Equals 3" (=3)!!!

Why?

Because
+ 1 + 1 + 1 (read in Chinese)
= 3
lorrr

All 3 of their Chinese names sounds like "+ 1" (in Chinese)

"Don't play with your food!!!" But it doesn't appear in the Malaysians' dictionary! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamm-seng.... with Milo!

=3 playing with breakfast! Finally a clear photo of Teck Hong. He is the one in dark blue shirt and light blue pants at the front row! (4th from left)

The breakfast was bad again! My aunt said we must eat breakfast like rich people! But we only have 2 buns and a cup of Milo in FOC!!! How can??

After breakfast, =3 turns into Batman...

... or =3man! Whatever!

Our first game is at the futsal court!

Half way there, Cheah Yee was caged!

Because she's a monkey! Cheah Yee monkey! Monkey Cheah Yee! It rhymes!

The first game was the sitting captain ball! What's the difference between a standing captain ball to a sitting captain ball?? For a sitting captain ball, players move with their butts!!! For the game, the ball is a scrub!

And into the court they go...

They look like some spaceship in Star Wars going into battle!

3 rounds were played. =3 lost the first round by a huge amount!

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going! Dai zek lou showed his skills for the 2nd round and score a huge amount of goals, pinning the opponent to the ground! In the end, =3 won as their opponent didn't score a single point after the first round.

The 2nd game was called snake game. It's the normal game passing the chair from one end to the other. But... it has a lot and really a lot of more obstacles, instead of getting longer, it gets shorter after every corner, got limbo stick(or string) half way, mines and a task half way through.

Passing the chair!

Suk Yee going under!

Jia Yi and Suk Yee decided to take photo half way through the game.

With so much support from the committee members, Andrew, Jacky, etc.... They won the game again!

Teck Hong going wild!

And the last game, the 100m relay costume race! We used the 400m race track. Everyone ran 100m. At the 1st and 3rd stop, one item was added to the runner. Everything carried must be passed on to the next runner.

I was at the 3rd stop, taking photos of runners running in, dressing up and running off.

This is one funny superman!

4 teams played the game together.

Ah Chai, the last runner at my stop, dressing up.

= 3 suppose to come in dead last as we were 1 stop slower than 3rd place. But no one wanted a boring ending, so, on the final lap, everyone started together again!

Kah Choon, the last runner of the group, being carried by people to the finishing line!

Right after the mass run, the crowd went wild! The other 4 teams were still playing the snake game and sitting captain ball. But the 4 teams which had finished were singing, dancing, etc etc!

To unite all Malaysians...

We drew MSAMCISA MALAYSIA. Combining MSA and AMCISA. I'm right beside the top M.

For mass lunch(MSA and AMCISA) and the SP talk and games, I wasn't around as my camera battery was flat. I brought it back to charge while I had my bath after a long sticky and wet morning.

This was how you guys look like during SP Talk. Got this photo from Yik Wen.

I came back for NTU Explore! Which was quite fun!

Now, no more '=3'! It's back to Qeisharo!

They were given a photo of the place, clues and hints of places in NTU. They had to look for those locations without the help of the seniors.

I had to work hard for this photo. I was required to climb all the way up the ADM (School of Art, Media & Design) building to take this photo! Isn't it suppose to be the other way around!!!

They decided to have a rest half way through the exploration and...

...the girls decided to act cute.

Qeisharo in front of Lee Wee Nam Library

MSA was scared that the freshies don't know where 7 11 is, so, one of the location was 7 11, which I found it funny to be in the list.

The last spot was near the Nanyang Auditorium where they have to perform this thousand hand indian goddess pose, which gave "4 +" the chance to take away all the limelight! 4 + (read in chinese) is the name of the first person in the photo.

During the time after the NTU exploration, Yvonne taught the group the "Happy Feet" cheer! The cheer that gave her the nickname penguin! It was a combination of blowing the whistle, legs and hands movement that ended up like a penguin.

At night, it was time for telematch!

First round was the spider web!

The freshies had to passed their friends across the holes between the lines without touching the web.

Everyone worked very hard to get every single member across the web. Although Qeisharo lost this game, the game was good enough to strengthen their bonds and teamwork. And this really propelled them for more wins in the coming games...

Next, joining the dots. It's like kindergarten. Your teacher ask you to join all the dots together to form a beautiful picture. Well, it's a different story when we are using human!

They formed a line and everyone has to walked from 1 to 30 something without taking of their hands. If you see properly, their hands were tied. And the worst thing is the numbers are quite scattered! It didn't form a beautiful picture but a complicated mass of humans trying to cut through one another.

They easily won the game. Their opponents were so far behind!

The forfeit for the opposing group was that every guy had to do push up and a girl had to sit on them. Due to insufficient girls....

...Yng has a free horse ride!

The next game was passing the water bags and balloons!

This is the starting point...

Pink Wan act cute by being a hen! or look more like in the toilet!

This is how they pass...

I was in luck to have caught this photo by accident! She's gonna kill me if she sees this!

And this is the end point!

Fish (the one under the bucket), trying to act cute to receive the incoming balloons and water bags.

They won!

Next game... picking up the cups!

You think so easy??? With a river cut your path from the cups... It's definitely not a solo game! If you drop yourself flat down, how are you gonna stand up? Impossible! Group members are required to hold you when you go down and pull you up when you have taken a cup!

No matter who you are, everyone have to work together!

Even as big size as Kok Hou! Everyone in the group put him down and pulled him up!

The spirit of Qeisharo was of utmost importance...

...they easily won it! (I like this photo a lot!!!!!!!)

And the final telematch game... MSA soccer! Reminded me of memories of last year, every goal scored, the supporters will run around the court. When the group won, the whole group ran!

But no matter what, with a deceiving attacker

Kah Choon showing off his deceiving skills

...great midfielders...

Siew Wai always stealing the ball from the opponent

...strong back bones ...

Kok How as defender and KC as goalkeeper

...a roaring crowd...

...and most of all teamwork!

They came from 4 down to victory!

The telematch ended with 1 lesson and 3 victories and an infinite of life long experience for Qeisharo! Proud of them!

After a long day, it was the senior's turn to take photos!

************************************************

After bringing the Hall 7 freshies back to hall for 2 days, tonight I decided to test them by letting them lead the way. Although today suppose to be an early day, because they took the wrong path, we ended up sleeping at least 30 min later.

It was a nice experience, although feeling tired and sleepy, we went to places that I myself had never been to. We entered the new SPMS building and lost our way there. Wanted to sleep there as there was 24 hours air-con there.

But in the end, we found our way out!
